Vintage Mid Century English Leo Zodiac Charm Medallion

Presenting a handsome, Mid Century Zodiac pendant of Leo. His Zodiac timeline is 23 July to 22 August. He would love to be a birthday gift to someone dear to you or even yourself !

He is fully hallmarked, but some of the hallmarks are rubbed, so difficult to read. The English hallmark "375" for 9 k gold is clearly visible as is a maker's mark S&K, London jewellers Slade & Kempton, active from 1970-1984. The pendant is made in the classic, 1970"s style as a round disk with a cut-in edge, with mirror like surface. This contrasts very effectively with the inner hammered effect surround. This creates a shadowy background for a 3D Leo.

The disk measures 22 by 23 mm and 31 mm north to south, with the bale included. It weighs 4.2 grams and is in great vintage condition.
