Stunning Antique Victorian Pave Turquoise Heart Ring

We adore turquoise! We find it such a magical stone, with its vibrant and rich colour, so pleasing to the eye, soothing to the soul and uplifting for your spirit.

It is said that turquoise is wonderful for balancing and aligning ones chakras for a calming affect. Beneficial for us creative ones and aids in problem solving - useful! Turquoise has long been believed to protect from negative energy and considered a holy stone and one that brings good fortune. It is a December Birthstone, lucky Capricorns !

We find pave set turquoise jewelry especially enchanting, this ring is truly special. Puffy heart shaped, it is studded with bright and vivid natural turquoise stones - at the time, a symbol of 'remember me by' message, as it shares the colour of the Forget-Me-Not flower. The turquoise is of absolutely stunning quality and colour.

This gorgeous ring hails from around 1890. It had its shank replaced at some point in its life, it is not hallmarked and tests 14 karat gold, while the turquoise stones are set in silver. The gold is rich and yellow, making the bright turquoise stand out beautifully. This lovely piece weighs 6.09 grams. The heart measures 19 by 18.5 mm, and 7.1 mm in height. The edge of the underside of the ring has a couple of small splits, but it is totally stable and cannot be seen when the ring is worn. Two of the turquoise stones has a tiny flat surface chip. Otherwise it is in lovely antique condition.

The ring is a size 7-7.5. It can be sized up or down within reason, please message us if you are unsure.
