Stunning Antique Georgian Paste Buckle Conversion Cuff Bangle Bracelet

Beautiful Georgian jewelled objects of art, long lost skill and sublime beauty ... we wish everyone in the world could collect them, but we know how much enjoyment it is to wear beautiful jewellery. So, we rescued a single Georgian shoe buckle and re-imagined it into a gorgeous, wearable, cool bracelet. We love it ! Just imagine wearing something this stunning on your shoe !!!

The buckle was hand crafted around 1780 in silver and set with wonderful, beautifully cut and matched flat paste (glass) stones. The pastes are truly amazing, so sparkly, in fantastic condition . The photos do not do them justice, in real life they are electric ! These beautiful gems are foil set in closed back settings. The curve and smoothness is the main feature of the whole design of the buckle; from the curvy shape to the rounded, silver back - with the opulence of those Georgian pastes - genius !

We had our wonderful jeweller make two silver loops to hold the ribbon, that you will tie it up at the back to hold the paste top in place. Here, you can get creative and have fun! Use a multitude of ribbons, match them to your outfits, use silk, velvet, lace, anything you like ! The bracelet comes with the baby blue velvet ribbon in our photos. The paste set part measures 57.6 mm side to side and 42.2 mm top to bottom. The thickness of the paste settings is 6.2 mm. The bracelet weighs 22.4 grams and is in wonderful antique condition.
