Stunning Antique Georgian 9K Gold Reversible Garnet Fringe Swag Necklace

She is absolutely breathtaking ! From her juicy, gleaming natural garnets - their colours are insane ! - to those gorgeous hand crafted, cupped, closed back settings, and the graceful, swag design ! The back of the necklace is so beautiful, that you can happily wear reverse to front ! She really is two stunning necklaces in one ! We have no words...

She is English in origin and made around 1830. Not hallmarked, she was tested for gold content. The garnets are delicious magenta with rich, red tones and fantastically bright and sparkly, as the gems are set on foil. The garnets in their settings graduate from 3.9 mm at the back of the necklace to 5.6 mm at the front. The necklace weighs a comfortable 15.9 grams, is 16.5 inches long and has a simple hook clasp. This clasp does up and looks the same, regardless if you wear the necklace to show garnets or gold balls. It is in superb antique condition.
