This beautiful engagement ring is crafted as a solitaire, with the emerald cut, natural, bright intense mid emerald green emerald, set in a four prong claw setting. The gemstone measures 8.52 by 7.62 mm and estimated to weigh 2.89 carats. The emerald has been checked by an FGA qualified gemologist and is a natural stone with moderate treatment. Most natural emeralds have a degree of oiling as a treatment. The emerald is of very good quality and displays some natural inclusions within a stone, typical for this gem. The colour is deep, dense and velvety, a beautiful emerald green. The ring mount is made entirely in platinum, hallmarked with our ERA maker's mark and platinum hallmark, with beautifully decorated shoulders featuring single cut diamonds. The millegraining on the shoulders offsets these lovely clean and white diamonds to bright perfection. The quality of the workmanship is fantastic ! The ring sits at 6.07 mm off the top of the finger. The top is 14.01 mm wide including the decorated shoulders and 8.52 mm north to south. It weighs 3.5 grams and is a size US 5 3/4, UK L 1/4 at the moment and can be sized up or down. Please check your sizing with us prior to purchase. In pristine condition.
