Fabulous French Art Deco Dormeuse Natural Emerald 18K Gold Earrings

Those exquisite French emerald dormeuse beauties are beyond chic!! Perfect for the every day or absolutely fabulous for your elegant evenings out when you want to look and feel your sassiest ! Those emeralds are divine !

They are chic, eye catching, head turning and eleganty simple in their unmistakenly French design. And the best thing ever is how wonderfully wearable they are! They sit just below your earlobe, like brightly lit green stars, illuminating your face. They suit every face shape and are super flattering. They dress you up with effortless grace, way beyond just elegant and stylish. They are stunning! Hallmarked with the French Eagle head hallmark for 18 karat sunny, yellow gold. They are also stamped with a maker's mark for Charles Garnier, of 60 rue de Turbigo, Paris. The earrings's backs are shaped like flower petals, with fine, bezel set emeralds atop. The light getting through the spaces between the petals makes the emeralds glow with a bright energy of a fragrant, green lawn on a sunny day. The cabochon cut emeralds have been checked by FGA qualified gemologist, pronounced natural gemstones of lovely quality. They are in excellent condition.

The earrings date from around 1920. The settings containing the emeralds measure 7.8 by 7 mm and 8 by 6.5 mm. The total length of the earrings from the top of the wire is 15.7 and 14 mm. They are hand crafted for these two specific stones, hence the tiny difference in size. This is not detectable when they are worn, hand crafted antique earrings nearly always differ in size a tiny bit. They weigh 2 grams together, superbly comfortable to wear. In very good antique condition.
