Contemporary Georgian Inspired ERA 18 K Gold Garnet Hoop Earrings

A beautiful pair of hoop earrings in a much sought after Georgian style ... antique ones are so very scarce, we just had to make them !! Those stunning, newly dreamt up earrings are part of our new collection of ERA custom made, fabulous quality contemporary gems with a classic, timeless appeal and beautiful design and workmanship that equals the antique jewels. We would like to bring you the heirlooms of the future, hand made, hand picked and special.

We loved designing those earrings for you. They are created feminine and darling ... in variety of beautiful gems. We picked all the gemstones ourselves and had them assayed and hallmarked with our very own ERA maker's mark.

Those darlings are done in 18 karat rose gold and set with juicy, cabochon cut garnets. The garnets are beautiful quality, they are the colour of fine wine with beautiful glow to them, we adore them ! They are so tactile, smooth, edgy and so very chic ! They are made in 18 karat rose gold, while the hooks are made in 9 karat gold. This is done so, as the 18 karat gold is too soft to provide a reliable, non bending hook that keeps its shape for many years, 9 karat gold is a harder metal and more suitable to that. The earrings are hallmarked with "375" for 9 karat gold, British and London hallmarks for year 2025, with "ERA" maker's mark for Elizabeth Rose Antiques. The reason the 18 Karat gold does not feature, is that the British hallmarking law states, that if two or more karats of gold are used, only the lowest is allowed to be hallmarked. In those earrings only the hooks are 9 karat gold, the reminder, so the entire earring part is 18 karat.

The earrings are 4 mm wide and weigh 7.06 grams together. The measurements of the earrings are 26.5 mm side to side and 28.3 mm top to bottom, including the hooks.
