Art Deco Harlequin Multi Gemstone 9K Gold Pendant

Here she is, the Art Deco Harlequin gemstone queen ! She is a spectacle of colour, shimmer, sparkle and glow ! Her gems are delicious, like precious candy, she is so much joy!

A late Art Deco gal, she was made around 1930-1940 in 9 karat mellow, rose gold (tested, as she is not hallmarked). She started life as a brooch and had been converted into a fabulous pendant. We removed a brooch fitting and added a matching colour 9 karat gold bale .

The all natural gemstones comprise of two blue sapphires, one darker and one lighter, three different varieties of garnet - two red and one pink, one citrine and six varied colour natural zircons; pink, peach, orange and two different tones of green. The colours of this perfect dozen are beautifully composed, the gems chosen are full of life and sparkle ! Their condition is fantastic and all are free of inclusions or any damage. They have all been assessed by an FGA qualified genealogist. The estimated carat weight of each stone is around 1.00 carat, so the total will be ... around 12 carats !

The pendant is a near perfect circle, measuring 30.4 by 30 mm, its total length with the bale included is 36.7 mm, while the gem-set circle width is 5.8 mm. It weighs 5.9 grams and is in lovely vintage condition.
