Art Deco Dutch 14K White Gold Emerald Diamond Enamel Tennis Line Bracelet
Gorgeous Art Deco bracelet in classic colours of the era in jewels - deep, grass green natural emeralds, icy white, sparkly diamonds and black enamel accents.
The bracelet is hallmarked with a Dutch mark of the oak leaf for 14 karat gold, used between 1906 and 1953. We date it to the 1920's. It features links consisting of a trio of natural emeralds set in fine, five prong basket settings, which are interspaced with gorgeous, boat shaped diamond and enamel sections. Each diamond section consists of three super white and bright single cut diamonds with black enamel accents at their ends. The natural emeralds are of lovely quality, colour and brightness with slight variation of the tone of green. The gems have so much sparkle to them ! which unfortunately we couldn't quite capture with the camera. Emeralds are quite tricky to photograph, but we promise, you will have a lovely and very sparkly surprise when you see this jewel in real life !
The 18 round emeralds in their settings range from 3.8 to 4.8 mm, each trio section is set with graduating stones. Their estimated total weight is 5 carats. There is 18 diamonds as well and their estimated total weight is 0.36 carats. The bracelet is 6.6 inches long and has a secure clasp with an additional safety clip. It weighs 7.8 grams. As far as the condition, it has one small area of black enamel missing and one of the settings for the emerald has one missing claw. This does not affect the look of the bracelet at all, and all the gems are secure in their settings. Otherwise the bracelet is in great antique condition.
