Antique Victorian 15K Gold Citrine Pendant Charm Dangler

Citrine is a November Birthstone and a lucky 13th! Wedding Anniversary gift. Spiritually it is associated with supporting joy and abundance. It is also regarded as a protective amulet, increasing positive attitude and self esteem, helping manifest creativity, wealth and prosperity.

This pretty antique Victorian pendant was made around 1890. It features a lovely oval cut citrine in sunny colour, which throws the bright, sparkly yellow tones around the facets of the cut. The pretty, yellow gold, beautifully chased surround tests 15 karat gold while the bale is 9 karat gold. The bale is a nice, large size so the pendant can be worn on your thicker chains or dangle from the dog clip of your Albert chain.

The citrine in its inner bezel setting measures 13.3 by 9.5 mm. The measurements with the chased surround are 16 by 12.1 mm, while the pendant with the bale included measures 22.9 mm in total length. It weighs 1.8 grams and is in lovely antique condition.
