Antique Georgian Paste Pendant Charm Dangler

This gorgeous Georgian paste charm for you!

The beautiful, late Georgian paste stone was set in its smooth, silver bezel setting around 1830. It would have formed a part of another piece of jewellery, most likely cufflinks or a set of buttons. The setting is beautifully hand crafted in silver (tested as not hallmarked) and has a domed back. We added the bale made in 9 karat yellow gold. This sparkly antique beauty can now be enjoyed worn on a chain or suspended from your favourite Albert chain's dog clip. The brilliantly white paste is cut just like an old mine, cushion cut diamond of the times - it really does look like a chunky old cut diamond ! It flashes frosty white tones as it moves. The paste (glass) stone has been painted on the reverse, instead of the usual foiling. This pendant is not suitable to wear in the shower or for swimming.

The paste in its setting measures 8.7 by 8.4 mm and the charm is 14.5 mm long with the bale included. It weighs 1.2 grams. The paste stone is in stunning antique condition, amazing for being at least 200 years old !
