Antique Georgian Paste Pendant Charm Dangler

A thoroughly charming, large Georgian paste charm.

The lovely Georgian paste stone was foil set in its closed back, fine, pinched setting around 1800. It would have formed a part of another piece of jewellery, most likely cufflinks or a set of buttons. The setting is hand crafted in silver (tested as not hallmarked) and has a domed back . We added the bale, made in 9 karat yellow gold. This sparkly antique beauty can now be enjoyed worn on a chain or suspended from your favourite Albert chain's dog clip. The brilliant, white paste is beautifully cut, just like an antique old mine cut diamond. The paste (glass) stone has its original foiling at the back of the stone in absolutely superb condition, with no discolouration at all. We adore Georgian paste jewellery, our absolute favourite !! The pendant has tons of antique charm and character !

The paste in its setting measures 10.5 mm in diameter and the charm is 18 mm long with the bale included. It weighs 1.4 grams. Both there paste and the pendant are in lovely antique condition.
