Antique Georgian Natural Split Pearl Citrine Butterfly Pendant

Antique Georgian Natural Split Pearl Citrine Butterfly Pendant

£790.00Price

This darling Georgian, circa 1820's butterfly ! She was a bow, but all we could see was ... a butterfly ! She just had to be flipped upside down so that she could fly !!!

Butterflies have long been a symbol of transformation, and we love our transformations throughout our live's journeys. Wiser, more confident, more loving to ourselves and others, more grateful for the smallest things. Just loving life !!

We asked our jeweller if he could expertly make a pendant fitting for her and we just love how he has done it. So grateful! The bale is done in 9 karat matching colour yellow gold, to the pendant's 15 karat gold. The butterfly is not hallmarked so the metal has been tested. The transformed butterfly is set with lovely, champagne, natural split pearls and a bright citrine in its centre. The gem part of the pendant measures 18.9 mm side to side, 14.6 mm top to bottom, and the total length of the pendant including the bale is 20.1 mm. She weighs 1.6 grams and is in wonderful antique condition.

We adore ... this charming, delicate, Georgian work of art. Feminine and ever so pretty, a truly delightful butterfly !

Please kindly note that other jewellery in our photos is for your inspiration and not included in this listing
