Antique Georgian Acrostic ADORE Half Hoop Stacking Ring
The most beautiful antique Georgian ADORE ring for you. In the romantic, sentimental language of gemstone it says; A-methyst , D- amond, O-pal, R-uby, E-merald.
She is a stunning English beauty, dating from around 1800-1820, finely hand crafted in 9 karat mellow rose gold in a classic Georgian style, with low , gently curved profile, closed back , fine settings and a fluted, graceful band. The stones are beautiful too, with a gorgeous, low cut facets. They are all lovely, with saturated colours, gleaming and dancing in the light.
This lovely ring is not hallmarked, and has been carefully tested to confirm the gold content. The gem set top of the ring measures 19.1 mm across your finger and it is 5.8 mm wide. The band at the back is 2.1 mm wide. The ring lies smooth and low at just 2 mm off the top of your finger and it is beautifully comfortable to wear. She is wise US 7.5 or UK but also fits size US 7 finger ( UK O). We would advise not to have it re-sized, so the lovely back of the shank is not disturbed. It can be made a little smaller by inserting a couple of small god balls on the inside of the shank. Please message us if you are unsure of the size. She is in amazing antique condition for her age, having been loved and looked after well during her over 200 years.
