Antique Edwardian 15.75 Inch Solid 9K Rose Gold Albert Chain Necklace 50.2 Grams

The most delicious antique 9 karat rose gold Albert chain! Her antique rosey tone is stunning.. She's hallmarked on each link as you can see. They are a wee bit rubbed, as expected for her age - she's around 125 years old. She is non graduated, and measures 15.75 inches in length, weighs a lovely 50.2 grams. Her T bar also moves along the chain and can even come off. Her condition is fab! 

This solid 9 karat rose gold Albert chain was used as a gentleman's watch chain when first made in around the year 1900. England. It has "375." "9" marks on one side of each link, as well as the links of the T bar, which also features a stamp with the makers mark "JB". Both the dog clips as well as the bar are fully original to the chain which is so lovely to see. The links of this necklace a lovely and dense, creating a rich and opulent look. The chain is made in a true and classic Victorian style and is of fabulous quality of workmanship. This gorgeous chain is now fashionably repurposed as a great necklace worn by itself or with your pendants and charms. You can wear it hallmarks up or choose the smooth side to show for a different look. The chain is solid and heavy at 50.2 grams and looks and feels ever so smooth and truly luxurious. The colour of the antique gold is beautiful and mellow. The links are nice and wide too, even in width along the whole length of the necklace at 6.33 mm. This chain is 15.75 inches long, including the dog clip. It can be lengthened by about 2 inches if required by an addition of a fabulous diamond (!!) extender, please message us and we will give you all the information on it.

The chain looks gorgeous on its own while the mellow gold colour will look wonderful, mixed with both yellow or rose gold and silver chains and pendants too !
